I said it, and Brian said it, and we were both right.
We pointed out that all gay activists were going to accomplish by breaking laws, supporting judicial tyranny, and pissing and moaning about the subject of gay marriage being more important than the war on terror, is a major backlash against their goals.
And now it's happening.
I'm willing to bet this is the tip of the iceberg, and those pushing the issue have no one to blame but themselves.
It's going to be interesting to see if Newsom continues to marry gay couples, in violation of a court order, and really does pull the martyr routine in the name of gay rights. My guess is that he won't, as he was only in it for the press.
