Well, it's about time.
I was getting worried that I'd have to stop making fun of California now that the state has a governor who isn't a complete reject.
Fortunately, the usual suspects still provide me with lots of ammo.
State lawmakers signaled Tuesday that they won't move quickly to fulfill Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's campaign pledge to repeal a measure granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.
Convening in a special session, Assembly Democrats blocked efforts to immediately repeal the new law, and Senate President Pro Tem John Burton labeled as "racist" the push to kill SB 60.
Yup, those Demobrats are sure going to work with Arnold, now aren't they. Arnold's name isn't even dry on the paperwork and they're pulling out the race card. He's going to have to take every single issue that makes any sense to the people, mark my words.
Do take special note of the protester holding the "Immigrants Need To Drive Too" sign.
Ah yes, can't be denying those illegal immigrants rights reserved for those who come here legally and actually contribute to society.
