More on JFKerry.

I came across something which was cause for a whole lot of reflection on Kerry, Bush, and the upcoming Presidential election. That something is this.
NEWBURGH, N.Y. (AP) - John Kerry said Friday he would put Osama bin Laden on trial in U.S. courts rather than an international tribunal to ensure the “fastest, surest route” to a murder conviction if the terrorist mastermind is captured while he is president.

“I want him tried for murder in New York City, and in Virginia and in Pennsylvania,” where planes hijacked by al-Qaida operatives crashed Sept. 11, 2001, Kerry said in his first interview as the Democratic presidential nominee.

Now, I'm putting partisan feelings aside from this. I don't care about medical systems, taxes, or even foreign policy on this issue.

Kerry has just proven that he doesn't care one bit about the war on terror, about 9/11, or about the survival of our nation. He just said (assuming the highly unlikely-- that bin Laden hasn't been cave paste for years) that should bin Laden be captured, he should be tried for murder. This is a flip-flop on his previous statement that if captured, he should be shot in the head. This proves something to me: Kerry doesn't give a damn either way. He only wants the power, and is willing to say or do whatever his handlers calculate as the best means to that end. If that means appearing "moderate" on the subject of bin Laden, then that's what he says.

I've no doubt, that given the chance, Bush would personally execute bin Laden on the White House lawn. Or, more realistically, he would not hesitate in ordering a few hundred thousand pounds of ordnance into his back yard. I've seen the man's eyes. I've heard his words. I believe he loves this country, that he's steadfast on his core beliefs, and that he wants to protect this great nation as best as he possibly can.

Kerry has just proven that he isn't of the same material. Politics aside, he cares more about his press and public appeal, more about the concept of holding the reigns of power, than he does about justice for over three thousand people who were killed for absolutely no other reason than living a life of success and freedom.

He then had the gall to say this:
After polishing off a bowl of chili and a Frosty, the newly minted nominee took Bush and his Republican allies head-on.

"They don't have a record to run on so all they can do is attack," Kerry said. He was responding to Bush, who a few minutes earlier had said from the campaign trail that Kerry had no "significant achievements" in Congress.

Bush doesn't have a record to run on? He's removed two islamist dictatorships, signed the orders sending hundreds of terrorists to much deserved and bloody deaths, resurrected an economy left in ruins by eight years of "eh, whatever" politics, and done everything short of stand on a beach with a rifle to make certain another city doesn't burn.

What have you done, Johnny, aside from sit on your ass and collect a six figure paycheck out of my tax dollars, and then not even bother to do the damn job for which you are paid?

Arrogant, pompous, narcissistic windbag. This man makes me want to puke.

Get the hell out of my state, you useless piece of shit. You tarnish the courage of those of us who ran towards those burning buildings, instead of away from them, with your very presence.

UPDATE: The Marines agree.
But they turned downright nasty after the Massachusetts senator thanked them "for their service" and left.

"He imposed on us and I disagree with him coming over here shaking our hands," one Marine said, adding, "I'm 100 percent against [him]."

A sergeant with 10 years of service under his belt said, "I speak for all of us. We think that we are doing the right thing in Iraq," before saying he is to be deployed there in a few weeks and is "eager" to go and serve.

UPDATE: Here's the photo. The Marines really do have the term "eff off and die" down to a facial expression science.
